Well, I'm adjusting to no dog. Much as I did not enjoy having him here, he did affect my routine.
After unloading most of the furniture last night by myself, the last three pieces are going upstairs tonight and the truck is going back, too. Whew! That was tiring. But I'll have the place back in shape by the end of the weekend. One chair seems to have sustained some moisture, so I emptied about a third of a can of Lysol at it. We'll see if it kills the mildew smell as advertised. If not, it'll get tossed out.
Tomorrow at the Karaoke Smackdown we'll have the raffle to shave Alex's head. The clippers are actually in the car right now so that I can't forget them. I need to remember to get a piece of white vinyl to hang as a screen for the projector. I'll probably do that tomorrow on my way home from the office. Maybe if I wake up early and get my ass in to work early I'll leave at about 4:30 to be sure I catch the sign place while it's still open.
I'm working on another source of karaoke cd's since Phong Le's wasn't open. I could order from them online, but that still involves a phone call to see what they have in stock. So I may just find what I can from my ever growing list of things that must be purchased.
