1st Podcast

Well, I was bored tonight, so I did a karaokekast™. 1st one. I've done a videoblog or two and I've posted some karaoke videos online, but I keep listening to these podcasts and figured I could do one, too. The results are mixed. I really like the opening, which I put together in Garage Band on my Mac. Took me awhile to get the vocal effects right so that they fit into the rest of the opening. And it was somewhat fun trying to find the right bits to mix together to give me something I like.

So I cover that, and the upcoming Kazoo Karaoke event, and the shows I'm going to this weekend (Hobos on Friday and AM/FM -- twice-- on Saturday). Then I've got the remixed kazoo sample track of Friends in Low Places in the style you might hear it at the Princess. I cover my weekend in New Orleans and some work stuff and some Trailer Park boys and close with Santeria, sung by Matt (not Malone) that I recorded in 2004 at the Princess.
